I don’t think it would presumptuous of me to assume that everyone reading this will know what the Toyota Hilux is, after all, it’s been with us for over 50 years, and in that time has gained an enviable reputation for both ruggedness and reliability.

So what’s with the GR Sport moniker?

I was going to write that there are so many improvements to the new Hilux that you would need a short break in the Lake District to read about them all, but that would give the impression that the old Hilux was rubbish and required a complete overhaul, which wasn't the case at all…..
