Hennessey Venom 775 F-150
Hennessey, the renowned Texan hypercar manufacturer and high-performance vehicle creator, has unveiled the updated Venom 775. This creation is based on the Ford F-150 pickup, but it's been thoroughly enhanced with a supercharged V8 engine that outmuscles both the factory RAM TRX and Ford Raptor R in terms of horsepower and torque.
The stock Ford F-150, equipped with a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine, delivers a respectable 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, however, Hennessey's team of expert technicians, boasting over three decades of experience, take it to the next level. They installed a 3.0-litre supercharger to boost intake pressure and incorporate an air-to-water intercooler to lower charge temperatures. Upgrades to the fuel injectors and fuel system are made, along with the installation of a high-flow air induction system. Additionally, a stainless-steel cat-back exhaust system is fitted to reduce back pressure and enhance the exhaust note.
These mechanical enhancements, combined with Hennessey's Engine Management Calibration, result in a jaw-dropping output of 775 horsepower and 727 lb-ft of torque – a remarkable 94% increase in power and a 77% boost in torque. The performance is nothing short of impressive, with a 0-60 mph sprint taking just 3.6 seconds.
Hennessey doesn't stop at the engine; they also focus on improving the pickup's chassis. A 6” lift is added, along with 20” 'Hennessey' 10-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in 35” off-road tyres to boost its off-road capabilities. The suspension undergoes an upgrade, and multi-piston Brembo brakes with striking red calipers are installed to shorten stopping distances and make a visual impact.
To complete the exterior transformation, the pickup features a 'Hennessey Venom' front bumper with LED illumination, which matches the 'Hennessey Venom' rear bumper. Power-operated AMP running boards make getting in and out easier, and to add a unique touch, the front badge and bumper vents are illuminated. Inside, you'll find embroidered 'Hennessey' head restraints and distinctive Venom 775 badging.
The production of the Venom 775 is limited to just 250 units, and all upgrades come with Hennessey's solid 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty. Importantly, it retains seamless integration with the factory powertrain management, ensuring that all F-150 driving modes are preserved.
