🔥Hotties Heat Logs
I’ve had 2 packet of Hotties for quite a while. Unfortunately they were put to one side and forgotten about, as I don’t have a wood burning stove (yet), and both my Ozpig and Aquaforno stoves are buried deep in the outhouse, far out of reach, even for ………..
Pocket DAB Radio
This thing is blooming marvellous. It's teeny at only 8.3x4.7x1.8cm, has a nice brushed rubber feel and can play up to 7 hours, so should cope with a day's fishing. It comes with everything most people need to make it work: KS Vibes Earphones, USB charge cable and a lanyard. ………
big fork™ - cooking essential
big fork isn't a fork in the eating sense, it's actually a cooking utensil. It's an 11 inch long giant fork for cooking and serving. You can use it as a food turner when cooking by using its ‘prongs’ to grab and flip steaks or

Checking out the ever-expanding line-up of Motoring Classics items might just solve the problem for you as there’s something for everybody…

Now that summer has ended (don't laugh, we did have a summer.....well the rain was warmer), and we enter the time of falling leaves and gusty winds, let’s talk about jumpers, more specifically, Channel Jumper’s 1/4 Zipped Guernsey Jumper……
📱Re-review of Thule's Atmos X3
Today I dropped my phone down a flight of stairs, again. Not on purpose you understand, my hands were full and I was performing an amazing juggling act with my school bag, flask, keys, my coat tucked under my arm and of course my phone. Then it all went pear shape and I watched in slow motion as …..
Smokey Joe Premium Charcoal Barbecue
We’ve had this Premium version at Muddy Towers now for nearly 5 years, though you wouldn’t think it, going off it’s condition. With a cooking area of 37cm it’s large enough to feed a small family (or me), yet suitable to be packed into the smallest of cars. Here at Muddy Towers we find it perfect for days out, and at home with family and friends…..
Luci Color Inflatable Solar Light
A couple of years back I reviewed the Luci Original blow up solar light, and loved it, and now they’ve gone all funky and made a multi-colour version.
I mean why would we want to settle for one boring colour when you can have eight super cool ones?….

Elliot Brown Canford Watch Review
They say that young people these days don’t buy watches, instead they use their mobile phones to tell the time. They’re a strange bunch, next you’ll be telling me that they don’t carry pocket knives around either…
As of this moment, it’s been 12 days since I handed my watch in for a service, it’s the same watch I’ve worn everyday for the last 17 years, and I miss it, I really can’t…..
Gerber Centre-Drive Multitool
After spending a few months with the new Gerber Centre-Drive (or Center-Drive because Americans can’t spell) where will it live - drawer or toolbox?
Wham Flexi-Square
Every week, near enough, we’re sent products to review, some are put straight to use whilst others we just stare at and ponder their relevance. Initially, when I opened the box from Wham I have to admit the latter did cross my mind, but we are always up for checking out British made products.
Only a few moments after casting her eyes on them, Muddy Madam had some ideas and put them straight to use…..
Buff Infinity Scarf
I'm not usually one to wear scarves, unless it's freezing cold, so when I was offered a couple of these cotton continuous loop (hence the name Infinity), to review I thought I can only give them a go…
Update - Millican's Joe the iPad cover
Millican’s Joe The iPad cover is a great piece of kit, but after an initial spurt of use for my first review, around 6 months, it was put to one side and almost forgotten about. After this confession, some of you may be thinking that Joe isn’t worthy and a bit rubbish, but you would be wrong, oh so very wrong.
The sole reason for its rejection was because the eternally clumsy Muddy Madam…..
EAZYBBQ
Here at The Mud Life our philosophy is simple, the less we pack when we go on a jaunt the better, which is why I’m lovin’ this new product that was sent to us to review. EAZYBBQ is basically 100% ecological oak charcoal in a box. Granted, on reflection that doesn’t sound very exciting, but it is!
For starters it’s in a box, so that makes it easier for packing……
UPDATE - Thule Subterra 22” Carry-On
In the main compartment I put a couple of shirts, a pair of trousers, sturdy boots and underwear, they all seemed to be lost inside…
