INEOS Automotive expands UK retail and service network
Just when you thought INEOS Automotive might be slowing down, they’ve put their foot down and are storming ahead with a revamped UK retail and servicing network.
After ditching the agency model in favour of a more traditional dealer setup, INEOS has been working behind the scenes to beef up support for both new and existing customers. That means more retailers, more service centres, and even a bit of mobile wizardry for those in temporarily underserved areas.
Big Moves in the North and South
Let’s start down south, where long-time 4x4 guru Keith Gotts has joined the party. Based in Alton, Hampshire, Keith’s outfit is now officially part of the INEOS aftersales network – a smart move given the high demand in that area. If you’ve ever wanted someone who knows their way around a rugged motor and doesn’t mind getting stuck in, Keith’s your man.
Meanwhile, up north, Halliwell Jones (INEOS’s Chester-based dealer) is doubling down with a new service point opening in Wilmslow. That’s good news if your Grenadier needs a bit of TLC and you don’t fancy trekking too far from home.
Not to be outdone, Lloyd Motor Group is getting stuck in too. Already handling INEOS duties in Newcastle, they’re going all-in with two new sites in Carlisle. One’s conveniently located near an agricultural auction site — perfect for the farming crowd — and both will operate under the Lloyd AllRoad brand, which focuses squarely on 4x4s.
You’ll be able to test drive the Grenadier, browse new and pre-owned models, and get your maintenance sorted all in one go. Ideal, really.
Filling the Gaps – With a Wrench or a Van
For the bits of the UK currently in a bit of a service blackspot due to the restructuring, INEOS is chatting with mobile service providers to bridge the gap. Whether it’s a flat tyre or something a bit more serious, the idea is to bring the workshop to you – tools, techs, and all.
All Part of the Bigger Plan
Tom Johnson, Regional Director for the UK & Ireland at INEOS Automotive, summed it up nicely:
“While the network evolves and we continue to introduce new partners over the coming months, we will support both new and existing customers by extending the remits of our existing sites and adding mobile service support where required. It’s great to see our core partners expanding their operations so we can continue to foster and develop our growing customer community.”
The switch to a franchise model isn’t just about shiny new forecourts and more places to kick tyres. It’s also helping streamline things for customers, with quicker deliveries, better finance options, easier trade-ins, and improved access to approved used Grenadiers.
All in all, it looks like INEOS is doing what it does best — charging forward, simplifying the complicated, and making it just that bit easier to own and run one of its go-anywhere machines.
