Pure Clear Life Filter Straw

Pure Clear Life Filter

When you’re out exploring the wilds, clean drinking water can be worth its weight in gold, and that’s where the Pure Clear Life Filter comes in. Lightweight, easy to chuck in your bag, and simple to use, it’s a cracking bit of kit for campers, hikers, and off-road adventurers. If you are looking for something a little lighter to carry than huge water bottles then this is right up your street.... or stream.

Mike from Pure Clear couldn’t emphasise enough that this product should not be confused with other drinking straws on the market that only filter bacteria, parasites and micro-plastics, as this straw will additionally filtrate against waterborne viruses, chlorine, chemical reduction, heavy metals and even trace pharmaceuticals.

The Life Filter Survival Straw can be used several ways, either by submerging the end of the body directly into water, or by attaching the included 82cm tube to the bottom of the body and sinking the other end of the tube into water, and then drinking from the nozzle.

If you’ve bought the Life Filter System which also includes two water pouches, you can collect water in the pouch, and attach it directly to the body, using the 28mm screw thread at the bottom, and then drink safely.

Here at Muddy Towers we think that this is a useful piece of kit that could get you out of a tricky situation when out and about wild camping, and we would also take this on holiday to any places that are known to have a less than brilliant water quality, because no one wants a dicky tum on their hols.
